RTR Members Visit Taunton City Hall

A group of RTR Members from our Community-Based Day Supports (OPTS) programs recently had the opportunity to visit Taunton City Hall and meet with Mayor Shaunna O'Connell.

During the visit, Members toured City Hall, met members of the Mayor's staff, and asked questions about local government and the work being done throughout the city. They also enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look inside the Mayor's office, where they saw items such as the keys to the city, ceremonial ribbon-cutting scissors, and awards recognizing the Mayor's service.

Experiences like this help strengthen community connections and give Members the opportunity to learn more about the places and people that help shape their communities.

RTR is proud to support nearly 60 Members in Taunton through our community-based day program and a residential group home. We are grateful to Mayor O'Connell and her team for their warm welcome and for helping make this visit a memorable experience.
